The replique montre is available in two styles, Classic and Digital. The Classic watch (seen below) is exactly that, a watch with a minute hand and an hour hand that you adjust by rotating them around the dial until you get the time you like. The Classic version of the Met watch has a pair of small thin screens that provide you with whatever information the software will serve up to it. The watch itself is very nice, but I found that the screen was almost unusable in daylight.
The Digital version of the watch, which comes in white or black, is a little bigger on the wrist due to being square, but offers much more in the way of displaying information. The screen is a reflective TFT display, which means the Alain Silberstein replique is actually easier to read in direct sunlight, as the “ink” is reflected at you. The Digital also features the ability to invert the colors on the screen, so either the text and images can be reflective or everything else can. Both models have a water-resistant stainless steel case and a leather wristband that is easy to replace.
